Parent University

We are excited to invite you to our next event, “Parent University: Navigating the Middle School Years”, taking place on Tuesday, October 8th from 6:30PM - 8:15PM. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with our community, learn from an amazing lineup of speakers, and enjoy a fun evening together.

• Northwell's South Oaks: Anxiety in Teens and Coping Skills

• Port Counseling: Vaping and Substance Abuse

• North Shore Child and Family Guidance: Transitioning Your Child from Elementary to Middle School

We’ve also arranged for our 8th-grade students to provide babysitting services for children ages 5+, which will be overseen by Weber staff. Staff from the Port Washington Public Library will also join them to lead craft activities, ensuring the kids have a great time.

Additionally, we are fortunate to have several local restaurants donating food for families to enjoy. Dinner will be served from 5:30PM - 6:30PM, and doors will open at 5:30PM for food. Following dinner, the sessions with our speakers will run from 6:30PM-7:15PM and 7:30PM-8:15PM.

We are thrilled about this event and encourage as many families as possible to attend. It’s going to be an informative and enjoyable evening for all!
