Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well and that the end of the school year is bringing joy and a sense of accomplishment to both you and your children. I am writing to address an unfortunate oversight in our yearbook, and to emphasize the utmost importance we place on diversity, equity, and inclusion within our school community.
We deeply regret to inform you that, due to an error, a group of students was excluded from the yearbook. This oversight was entirely unintentional and does not reflect the inclusive values we hold dear. We understand the disappointment and frustration this may have caused, and we sincerely apologize for any hurt or confusion it may have generated.
At Weber Middle School, we firmly believe in celebrating the unique qualities, talents, and contributions of every single student. We recognize the power and beauty of diversity, and we strive to create an environment that fosters inclusivity and embraces the differences that make us all special. We want all our students to feel valued, seen, and heard. It is in this spirit that we acknowledge the seriousness of this error and are taking immediate action to rectify the situation.
We are committed to ensuring that every student is rightfully acknowledged in the yearbook. If you received a yearbook this week, and would like a corrected one, please fill out this google form https://forms.gle/8c1voSrEh7Vg6TrA9 by Thursday, June 15th no later than 5:00 p.m. Your prompt response is appreciated to ensure we can provide an accurate representation of our diverse student body.
Again, we sincerely apologize for any distress this oversight may have caused. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all students feel respected and represented. We appreciate your support and cooperation as we work together to rectify this situation and reinforce our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within our school community.
