School Psychologists
Vicky Bucci is the school psychologist for the Blue and Green houses. As a dedicated school psychologist, she is committed to supporting the academic, emotional, and social well-being of students at Weber Middle School. Her love for psychology started when she was a child and enjoyed actively listening to her family and peers and providing them with social/emotional feedback. She holds a doctoral degree in School/Community Psychology from Hofstra University and has over 15 years of experience in providing counseling, assessment, and intervention services. Her work focuses on fostering a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.
In her role, she collaborates with teachers, parents, and administrators to create strategies that promote mental health and academic success. She specializes in social-emotional learning and crisis intervention, and is passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. All of my students know that she has an open door policy and enjoys supporting them through their various experiences throughout middle school.
Outside of her work as a school psychologist, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband and three children. She also likes hiking, jogging, and reading novels. She looks forward to continuing to support and empower the students at Weber Middle School in their educational journey.
Fun Fact: She visited Brazil during Carnival.

Janna Amigon has been the school psychologist for the Red and Yellow Houses for the past twelve years. Her interest in psychology began at the age of 15 when she volunteered to help kindergarteners in a special education school. She realized the importance of positive attention and how that could help change behavior and brighten a student’s day. Since then she has always had jobs working with children, such as being a lifeguard, swim instructor, preschool teaching assistant and paraprofessional. Dr. Amigon attended Binghamton University and was part of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority. She earned her Masters’ and Doctoral Degrees in School-Child Clinical Psychology at Pace University. Dr. Amigon is married with two young boys. She loves Broadway and sports and is a diehard NY Rangers and NY Jets fan. On the weekends, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. You can catch her swimming with her sons, watching her son play soccer or baseball or going to a local fall festival with her family. Dr. Amigon loves to travel and learn about other cultures. She has visited many different countries, including Honduras, Mexico, Japan, England and Greece. Her passion for school psychology revolves around her desire to make sure that every student grows to feel supported, important and develops a positive sense of self based on their own unique strengths and interests.
