Yellow 6 Social Studies
This is a very exciting year in the curriculum of Social Studies as students will be traveling back in time to study the geography and history of the Eastern Hemisphere. These topics will include the development of cultures, civilizations, and empires; interactions between societies; and the comparison of trends in government and economics.
*Students will be able to explain the geography of the world and specifically the Eastern Hemisphere.
*Students will be able to describe the different ways to study history.
*Students will be able to identify trends in government, economics, and societies of different ancient civilizations such as the River Valley civilizations, ancient Greece, and ancient Rome.
