She attended the University of Delaware and studied Criminal Justice. Ms. Weiner received her school counseling degree at LIU Post. She is married and has twin boys who just started high school. She enjoys watching her sons play soccer and baseball. In her free time Ms. Weiner enjoys baking, photography, thrifting, spending time with family and friends, and anything creative. She recently took up hiking and feels that being in nature is a great way to destress. When she allows herself to relax, she can be found watching Big Brother or Law and Order SVU or you might find her taking a nap! When you visit her office, you can’t help but look around. She has pictures, inspirational quotes, a wall of fame, a quilt, duct tape, sand, fidget toys, and stress balls. Ms. Weiner finds her job as a counselor rewarding and can’t believe she made a career out of being a good listener and offering advice. She helps run Weber’s Humanitarian Committee. Ms. Weiner welcomes her students with an open-door policy and believes in equity and access for all.
Fun Fact: Mrs. Weiner did an internship in a maximum-security juvenile jail in Delaware.
